GRAVIMETER - AIR SEA II GRAVITY SYSTEM
The gravimeter is a device that allows you to measure the local acceleration value. Gravimeters can be classified as absolute or relative, according to the physical quantities involved in the measurement process.
General characteristics of the EMEPC - Air Sea II Gravity System gravimeter:
The acquisition mode of the Air Sea II gravimeter is a relative mode, thus requiring the previous placement of the sensor in a base station of known values, so that the acquired values are adjusted to the real value of the gravitational field.
Unlike conventional gravimeters, the Air Sea II model has the particularity of allowing acquisition on a moving platform, through an automatic sensor stabilization system in relation to the local vertical.
