USVP and UCTD

UnderwayCTD and rapidSV are vertical water column profilers that have the advantage of allowing data acquisition while the ship is in motion and in a short time, reducing ship costs and the number of profiles for a given time.

Both allow acquisition up to about 2000 meters in depth, but limited to the ship's speed (0-13 knots), because the higher the speed, the lower the depth reached. The acquired parameters are conductivity and temperature in the UCTD and speed of sound propagation and temperature in the USVT.
